Potential & Protection was created to provide practical specialist capacity around some of the most complex safeguarding challenges facing children, young people and the professionals supporting them.
The aim is not simply to identify risk. It is to understand the child, understand the context, challenge assumptions where necessary and translate assessment into purposeful intervention, safeguarding and disruption.

A social worker first. A specialist practitioner by experience.
The consultancy is grounded in wider statutory social-work practice rather than treating exploitation as an isolated specialism. Experience includes complex children and families, risk assessment, safeguarding, placement planning, permanence, court work, statutory meetings and multi-agency intervention.
The work has included supporting children whose circumstances involved significant vulnerability, exploitation, gang affiliation, missing episodes, offending, substance misuse and harmful environments.
